Design

Quala-Die has a full service engineering department with experienced professionals and state of the art software to provide our customers with assistance from design through production at our facilities.  

Much of the design work our Engineers perform involves intricate helical and bevel gears. These normally difficult parts are easily designed by our experienced staff.

Our highly experienced staff mainly uses Solidworks 2008 for tool design. This software allows our team to quickly design any type of tooling required.   are used to translate almost any file type you may provide and integrate it into our system. We can translate DXF, DWG, IGES, Vergent UG, as well as many others to suit your software.

CAM

From Design the part geometry is transferred to a CAM Engineer who uses it to create tool paths for the various CNC machines required for each process.

Using FeatureCAM we quickly output code that is downloaded by machine operators across the computer network using CAMpanion DNC software.
